OTHON is providing Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for Construction Package 1 of the SH 225 / SHTE Interchange, a vital infrastructure project aimed at improving safety and mobility in one of Houston’s busiest freight and commuter corridors.

Our team oversees daily inspection, materials testing coordination, and contractor compliance with HCTRA and TxDOT standards. We manage field verification, traffic control monitoring, and safety reviews to ensure quality construction with minimal disruption to the traveling public. In addition, OTHON handles project documentation, pay estimates, schedule reviews, and change order evaluations, while maintaining real-time communication with HCTRA for timely issue resolution.

By combining technical expertise with proactive field management, OTHON’s CEI services safeguard project quality, schedule, and safety—delivering reliable oversight for a high-profile interchange critical to regional mobility.

OTHON is providing Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for TxDOT’s FM 1463 reconstruction and widening project, covering approximately 7 miles across two segments with a construction value of $108 million. The project includes CRCP roadway reconstruction, new water and sewer infrastructure, drainage upgrades, sound wall installation, bridge construction, and ITS and signal improvements.

Our CEI responsibilities include schedule review, daily inspections, quality assurance oversight, and public information support to keep stakeholders informed. Through these services, OTHON is helping TxDOT deliver a complex, multi-discipline infrastructure project that increases capacity, enhances safety, and strengthens corridor resiliency in one of Fort Bend County’s fastest-growing regions.

OTHON served as Owner’s Representative, providing Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the design and construction of the Toyota Center Arena and its adjacent multi-level parking garage in downtown Houston. Spanning six city blocks, the project delivered a world-class venue with a seating capacity of over 18,000, serving as home to the Houston Rockets, Comets, and Aeros, and hosting major concerts and events.

Our CEI role included coordination of geotechnical, environmental, and survey services; oversight of property acquisition and utility relocation; design and demolition package support; full-time inspection and quality assurance; and management of scheduling, pay requests, change orders, and closeout documentation. Through close collaboration with the Houston Sports Authority, City of Houston, and other key stakeholders, OTHON ensured the project was completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards—transforming downtown Houston into a premier entertainment destination.

OTHON is providing Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services to support METRO in managing construction for Segments 2 & 3 of the Airline/Montrose Corridor, extending from Cavalcade Street to West Gulf Bank Road. The project includes bus stop enhancements and sidewalk improvements aimed at increasing safety, accessibility, and mobility for transit riders and pedestrians along this high-demand corridor.

Our responsibilities include daily inspection, contractor compliance verification, quality assurance, and public communication support to minimize community impacts. By ensuring construction meets quality standards and stays on schedule, OTHON is helping METRO deliver long-term improvements that benefit transit users and surrounding neighborhoods along the Boost 56 Corridor.

OTHON is providing Management Support, Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI), and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling services for Segment 3B-2 of the NHHIP, which reconstructs IH 69 from south of the SH 288/IH 69 interchange to IH 45—an essential link in Houston’s freeway network.

Our team supports TxDOT with documentation, stakeholder coordination, and schedule oversight. As part of the CEI team, OTHON conducts daily inspections, verifies materials, monitors field safety, and reviews contractor compliance. Through CPM scheduling, we analyze progress, prepare reports, and identify strategies to mitigate delays.
